Tim Pitman (The Voice Of Somerset)

Tim made the life changing decision to make music his life's career at the age of 4 whilst thumping away at his grandmother's piano. Tim started performing live in the mid 80's with a rock band and appeared on a number of local TV programs on ITV West and local cable TV. In 1992 Tim entered 'The ITV West Singer Of The Year' competition and out of 3500 singers he won.

That year he also became the first singer songwriter to be awarded a grant by 'The Prince's Trust'. Later that year Tim became one of only 40 performers in the world to perform to who is now 'His Majesty The King' on a face to face basis. That's when Tim turned pro. Tim's national profile began to rise through his performances and since then has worked with stars such as Micheal Barrymore, Tony Christie, Paul Daniels, Martin Daniels, Paul Mackenna, Les Mckeowns Baycity Rollers, The Tremeloes, Richie Gower (Racey) Paul Davinci (The voice behind the hit Sugar Baby Love) Cliff Bennett And The Rebel Rousers, Chris Farlow, Faith Brown, Freddie Starr and Little & Large plus many more.

In 2002 Tim made the decision to add classical music to his repertoire and from the point where he learn't his first Aria 'Nessun Dorma' to the point where he performed with 'The Royal Philharmonic full 85 piece orchestra' in front of 15,000 people was just 18 months, Tim had a standing ovation after the first Aria. Since then he has worked with many world class classical and military orchestras all over the world. Tim has also worked with classical stars such as Nigel Kennedy and Hayley Westenra.
In 2005 Tim was invited to perform at The Birmingham Tattoo, one of the largest indoor concerts in the country with ticket sales of over 20,000 and is back there regularly. He has also performed at 'The Glastonbury Extravaganza' in front of 15,000 people.

Tim has worked in some of the most prestigious venues in the country such as The National Indoor Arena (Birmingham) The National Exebition Centre (Birmingham) The Colston Hall (Bristol) The Bristol Hippodrome, The Bath Abbey, The Bristol Cathedral, The Clifton Cathedral, Glastonbury Abbey plus many theatres.

Tim has performed nationally and internationally all over the world. Tim took time out for 3 years but now is touring once again.

STANDARD SHOW
From 50's to the present day and includes tributes to Tom Jones, Gene Pitney, Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley, 60's to the present day bands, from The Holly's to The Killers. He can also perform a tribute to any of the past 7 decades.
Tim's repertoire is huge and can cater for any type of audience and covers a multitude of stars.

CLASSICAL/POP OPERA SHOW
This show is designed for mainstream audience and the term pop opera means pop songs sang with either a toned down opera voice or show voice. It includes a few traditional arias but mainly focuses on songs from Andrea Bocelli, Il Divo, Luciano Pavarotti who all collaborated with pop star, for example Tim performs 'Perfect Symphony' performed by Andrea Bocelli and Ed Sheeran, The Prayer performed by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion, Time To Say Goodbye performed by Andraa Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. Tim has also added dance version of opera pieces like the uptempo dance version of Ave Maria. This show is wholly unique and highly entertaining show.

Andrea Bocelli is the world's most famous crossover tenor with record sales of over 100 million. He has out sold most of the top pop artists and has performed with the biggest pop stars too. His music is timeless and extremely popular. With hit such as The Prayer performed with Celine Dion, Perfect Symphony performed with Ed Sheeran and Time To Say Goodbye performed with Sarah Brightman, Andrea Bocelli has become one of the most loved stars in the world. Tim pays tribute to this man's work with his incredible show all sung in the same key as the original.

Tim is rated as one of the most powerful and dynamic singers around and backs this up with premium equipment. This includes anything up to a 10k 10 speaker system mainly for outside use, an array of radio and lead microphones, all concert quality plus a super lighting setup which includes theatre grade led parcam and effects lights.
